I'm very curious about this artist

I have been curious about this artist for over 30 years and in this short, two minute documentary, you have helped me understand what I have not been able to find in text. Thanks.

My late partner collected an incredible MOBILE by Gerhard Nicholson, pre-1974, that is an outstanding piece. I have seen so little of his work that I am unable to recognize his style/motif/concept and understand if this MOBILE is typical of his work.

I will be on the lookout for your film and hope to see on TV as you accept the Oscar I know you will have earned.

gerhard's style

hi,

yes - gerhard made mobiles for many years. some of the other genres of work he made include cast bronze sculpture, prints, photographs, and during the last part of his life, functional one of a kind camera sculptures. when it's all seen together he definitely has a very recognizable style. i hope the film will give you more of a sense of his amazing work. i'll definitely keep you posted. thanks!
